Assignment 1: Bracketing Part 2

This first image is a photograph by Andy DeLuca of the band, Blame Candy. This image was striking to me because of the scarlet red composition. The color is bold and carries through the figures' essence. Andy is a concert photographer who uses vibrant colors to express emotion through music.
I found this image on the explore page of my Instagram feed. I found this to be such a beautiful image with the use of colors and the kaleidoscope effect used on the figures. While I know the figures in this image are the members of the band Nirvana, I'm not quite sure which photographer captured this. I relate this photo back to the first image captured by Andy DeLuca. The uses of color emulate certain emotions related to the figures in the photograph.
The final photograph I chose was one I found while researching the Rolling Stones one day, labeled "Silhouette". The image is of lead singer of the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, photographed by Danish photographer, Bent Rej. This photo was taken in Mick Jagger's home in London around the year 1965. What I found to be fascinating was the use of perspective in this photo. To me, it almost seems as if Jagger is gazing at an image of himself, lost in thought. I love the effect used on this photo to carry the idea of emotion and self-awareness further.
